Hello creatives, Rita Barakat here with today’s mixed media project!  I don’t know about you but this summer has been filed with lots of weddings! So I was inspired and created my own little mixed media bride!  I wanted to capture that traditional white wedding with a little edge and when I saw the new Deco Foil™ Transfer sheets summer watercolor collection I knew exactly what I wanted to do!

iCraft® Deco Foil™ Transfer Sheets

PeelnStick™ Adhesive Sheets

Fabric Fuse™ Liquid Adhesive

Project Instructions:
I  started with my mixed media bride with this sketch. When you are doing mixed media and want to incorporate fabrics and such you need a little planning!

I had lots of fun using these new iCraft Mixed Media Sheets for her brides dress! I cut strips for the arms, the body and  large skirt (I can’t sew but I can glue!) I put them on the Peel and Stick adhesive sheets  to adhere them to my canvas.  I love polka dots so for the center bodice of her dress I used the adhesive sheets on both sides, covering one side with the Deco Foil™ Transfer sheets Amethyst watercolor on top.

After painting the canvas I attached all the dress pieces and sprinkled some glitter on top for extra bling! I used the gold Deco Foil™Transfer Sheets and a little Fabric Fuse Liquid Adhesive for the crown! Of course no bride would be complete without some beadwork and netting for a veil!

I am sure you can think of a ton of mixed media ideas for these iCraft Mixed Media Sheets !
And perhaps you have a mixed media bride in your future?
