Create Quick Collage with Mixed Media Adhesive Sheets by Rebekah Meier Designs for Therm O Web
Create a quick gift or new wall art for your creative space using new quick-start mixed media surfaces from artist Rebekah Meier. Mixed Media Adhesive Sheets turn any paper (or fabric) into a sticker and also create an instant surface for collage techniques.
Quick Collage Tips:
Cut a 6” square from a Mixed Media Adhesive Sheet. Peel away top liner to expose adhesive. Cover adhesive with a collage of paper pieces, tissue paper and a torn decorative napkin. Before applying napkin, separate the colored layer into a single ply. Peel remaining liner and adhere to chipboard canvas.
If desired, thin white acrylic paint with water and brush over collage surface to create aged look; let dry.
Finally, paint butterfly and word with a generous coat of Mixed Media Medium; let dry until tacky. Cover butterfly with sheet of Old Gold Transfer Foil and finger burnish; peel away foil sheet to reveal satin finish. Repeat with Antique Pearl Transfer Foil on word. Use Mixed Media Medium to adhere shapes to collage; let dry.
