Hello there! Shemaine here today sharing a great way to use Deco Foil Metallix to create a pretty home decor project. I have a friend who is moving away and I wanted to give them a little gift for their new home. I picked up these adhesive stencils from ArtMinds at Michaels and thought they would be great on this linen canvas. For those of you who have never tried a home decor project, this one is super easy. Let’s get started!

Metallix Welcome Home Decor project

Start with your favorite stencil and canvas. For this project, I chose an 8×8 canvas and stencil from ArtMinds which can be found at Michaels.

The stencil had adhesive on one side but I also used purple tape to make sure it stayed on the canvas. Then I generously applied Deco Foil Metallix over the stencil and used the Stencil Pal to wipe away the excess and return it to the container.

Once I lifted the stencil to reveal the design, I allowed the canvas to dry overnight.

Next, I used the Ultra Bond Liquid Adhesive to adhere the paper flowers to the canvas and finished it with a wood laser cut “Welcome” which I also used the Ultra Bond adhesive to adhere.

The finished project is ready to be gifted. Aside from allowing the Metallix to dry, this project is both quick and easy to make. I hope you’ll give this technique a try and don’t forget to show us your design.

Please tag your Metallix creations with #thermoweb #metallix so we can find you on social media too!

Thank you for stopping by today!
