Happy May! We didn’t get too many April showers this year, but I’m still more than ready for May flowers. Today I have a project that was created for the most recent Crafts ‘n things newsletter. It is a quick and easy gift for a mom who likes flowers (and who doesn’t?).

SuperTape around the top and bottom edges of the planter holds the paper securely in place.

I used the SuperStik glue stick to create the sign, along with another small piece of SuperTape to hold the wire in place.

and turned Crazy Coil Brads into roses.

Can’t forget one of my favorites – which I use on almost everything I make – 3D Foam Squares. Love the dimension they add to projects. Here it is used behind both the apron element and the stamped scalloped layer.

and I’ll let you in on something else… I picked up the planter at IKEA for only $2.99… but don’t tell my mom, okay? If you would like complete instructions, including a template for cutting paper to fit the planter, sign up for the FREE Crafts ‘n things newsletter and check out the April 2012 issue. Once you sign up you will have access to all the back issues as well.

Thanks for stopping by!
