Hello Crafty Friends!!
Electro Pop Cards with Rina K. Designs
Larissa here today to share a Trio of Cards that I’ve made using the NEW Electro Pop Collection by Rina K Designs!! I want to show how this Collection can POP of any Background!!
Have you ever stamped onto Black or Kraft Cardstock!!?? I’ve tried a couple of times and I’ve always LOVED the results, but with the addition of the Stencil and Glitz Glitter Gels, this has become one of my NEW FAVORITE techniques!! Let me show you how!!
Sweet Stuff Stamps
I started by Stamping the Ice Cream Cones onto the Cardbases (one Black and one Kraft) using some White Pigment Ink!! I used my MISTI Stamping tool so I could create them both at the same time!!
Next, I stamped on top of the White Stamped Image using Antique Linen Distress Oxide Ink!! This makes the Antique Linen color POP off the Darker Cardbase!!
Then I Stamped with the Detail Images over the top of the Cones using Vintage Photo Distress Oxide Ink!!
Electro Pop Inks
I Stamped the Ice Cream tops on top of the Cones using the White Pigment Ink first, then stamped over the White Pigment Ink again using the Electro Pop Neon Ink in Poppin’ Pink and Potent Purple!! I repeated this process until all of the Ice Cream was added and then let the panel dry!!
Glitz Glitter Gel
Once the Ink was Dry I used the coordinating Stencil and applied the NEW Iridescent Glitz Glitter Gel and the NEW Poppin’ Pink Glitz Glitter Gel to the tops of the Ice Cream that I sprayed with Pixie Spray and applied using the Stencil Pal!! Once all of the Glitz Glitter Gel was applied, I set it aside and let it dry and then added some Black Soot Distress Paint Splatters!! I also added some Pretty Pink Posh Iridescent Jewels!!
Embossing Powder
The sentiments were Stamped and Embossed onto a Circle Die Cut using Versa Fine Black Onyx Ink and Embossed with WoW Neutral Shimmer Embossing Powder!! I LOVE the way that the Iridescent Glitter in the Embossing Powder ties together with the Iridescent Glitter in the Glitz Glitter Gel!! I Inked the center of the Circles with some of the Electro Pop Neon Ink in Potent Purple using an Ink Dauber!! I then adhered it to a larger Stitched Circle Die Cut using some iCraft Ultra Bond Adhesive and then added the Sentiment to the Card Panel with some Gina K Designs Foam Tape!!
I LOVE the way the Electro Pop Colors POP against the Kraft Cardstock but they are also toned down, so if Neon is too much for you this might be an idea for you to try!!?? I can’t wait to try the other NEON Electro Pop Colors on a Kraft Cardbase!! Stay tuned for those Projects in another post soon!!

How FUN is this Design on Black Cardstock!!?? I just LOVE that you can stamp onto Black Cardstock using the White Pigment Ink to help make the colors POP!! If you haven’t tried this technique I hope you’ll give it a try!! The results are just AMAZING!!
For this version I didn’t have to use the White Pigment Ink first, instead, I just Stamped right onto the White Cardstock Card Panel!! I LOVE the CRISP Design on the White Cardbase, but I also think its SO FUN to be able to stamp onto the different colors just by using the White Pigment Ink!! Gives you TONS of possibilities while using the same Products!!
