Howdy there, Amy from Sew Incredibly Crazy here to bring you a pillow idea with just a touch of country.
The great thing that I love about using Deco Foil™ is that you are not required to have a fancy cutting machine to get great results.
Project Supplies:
Deco Foil™ Transfer Sheets
Deco Foil™ Hot Melt Adhesive
Fabric for Pillow
There are many free sites on the internet that have free photo editing and font styles to choose from. You pick the style, and then print it out on a sheet of paper. Trace the writing directly on to your Deco Foil™ Hot Melt Adhesive , bumpy side down. Take fine point scissors and cut the verse from the Hot Melt.
After, cutting out your words, sit them on your fabric in the desired location. Iron them in place. You need to take a practice run with the setting on your iron. You do not want to iron for too long or not long enough.
Peel the paper off. Place a sheet of your DecoFoil Transfer Sheet, I chose gold for this project, on to the Deco Foil™ Hot Melt Adhesive . Iron the Deco Foil™ Transfer Sheet onto the Deco Foil™ Hot Melt Adhesive . You will be able to see where the foil has adhered to the adhesive.
Let it cool completely. After it cools, you do not want to run your iron over the design again. Gently peel the excess foil back.
And that is how you add a foiled saying to any fabric project without using a electronic cutting machine.
