Hi this is Jenifer here with you today for a fun easy pillow tutorial that will only take a few hours.  I promise 🙂

Supplies:

Assortment of Basic Grey Kissing booth collection (any scraps you have laying around)

1 yard for back and front1 yard pom pom trim from May Arts (optional)

embroidery floss (optional)

Therm O Web HeatnBond® Lite Fusible applique

Therm O Web HeatnBond® fusible fleece

14″ pillow form


Cutting instructions:Cut out 20 hearts from your Fabrics (approx.  you may have different sized hearts and need more or less.) 2-15″x15″ squares of the white fabric for the front and back 

Directions:  If you are using the Kissing booth collection from Basic Grey the hearts are already on the fabric, all I had to do is apply the Therm O Web HeatnBond® Lite Fusible  and cut out the hearts.  If you are using scraps get a heart you like, draw it on the Therm O Web HeatnBond® Lite Fusible adhere it to your fabric and cut it out.

 

Using a fabric pen draw a large heart on the white background.  Fill in as desired with the hearts you cut out in the step above.  When you have it the way you like adhere the hearts to the background and sew them down.  I used a small zig zag stitch but you can use any stitch you like.  After all of the hearts are sewn down then go around the large heart with some embroidery floss to make the large heart stand out, and write love in the corner.  Embroidery is optional you could also go around the heart with a stitch on your machine.   Before quilting adhere the Therm O Web HeatnBond® fusible fleece to the back and do some quick quilt stitching and now you are ready to assemble.



Baste your pom pom trim (optional) to the 15×15 square.  Sew the 2 15×15 squares together leaving an opening to insert your pillow form then hand stitch the opening closed.  Done.
