Hi there Therm O Web fans!  It’s Katrina from Paper, Scissors, and Glue to share a layout today made with the NEW Deco Foil Holiday Release Clear Toner Sheets.  I had a hard time choosing which one to use and I would have worked more of the release into my layout if I could have!

Oh What Fun Scrapbook Page

Oh What Fun Scrapbook Page Instructions

Warm laminator for at least 20 minutes.  Work on other parts of the layout while waiting.

Trim two Clear Toner Sheets to fit on 12×12 cardstock. Decide on Foil Transfer colors to use. Once decided, start with one color and do every other strand of lights (or whatever combination that you want to do).  Hold foil transfer sheet in place using small pieces of Purple Tape.  Using a parchment paper, cardstock and toner/foil sheet sandwich run thru laminator. Repeat the above process, but this time you can use a full foil sheet to cover the unfold areas.  It will not mess up anything that was foil previously and will speed up your foiling process!

This is where my clear toner sheets meet, with the 3 strands of stars (silver/gold/gold) being on the second piece.  It really doesn’t show and gives you a way to use the toner sheets all the way across a 12×12 sheet.  I did use the clear toner sheets with the longer side going across.

Cut a piece of pattern paper to fit the bottom of the layout. My picture is a 5×7, so that gives you an idea of how big my pattern paper is. NOTE: I did not use full clear toner sheets, I cut them down and save the cut pieces to use later.

Cut three varying sizes of triangles out of pattern paper to make a tree.  Use the thinner Deco Foil foam adhesive for the biggest layer and then pop the smaller layers with 3D foam adhesive squares.

Once you have your tree built use the NEW Ultra Hold Liquid Adhesive to hold embellishments like sequins and pearls on the tree.  It dries clear and you cannot see it at all.  Trust me, I got some on the tree because I ran my hand over a sequin that wasn’t dry!  I cannot tell at all where I did it!

Thanks for stopping by today!!  I hope you love the new release as much as I do!!!

I love our Christmas tree because it was the old Aluminum tree with the revolving color wheel that my daddy bought over 60 years ago from a local fundraiser telethon for children with Muscular Dystrophy. I will never forget the people delivering it to our door and thanking us so much for our support. We immediately put the tree up as it was after Thanksgiving and my mother went right to work crocheting around plastic rings to create homemade ornaments. I still have the original boxes the tree and lamp came in. Precious kindness and generosity, when we really didn’t have much money to spare … but my parents believed in giving to others less fortunate than we…Daisy McNeill

This is a GREAT page! SO COOL! I love our PICKLE prize tradition on our tree. We hide a tiny pickle ornament on the tree and whoever finds it gets a funny gift!

My favorite thing about our tree is how nuclear bright it looks when we choose a single color of lights, then use double or triple the recommended number of strands for our super nice silver xmas tree! We just replaced our silver tinsel one that was showing a lot of wear after 10 or more years of festive fun around it (and more than one cat having climbed it.) We found a really cool supplier of alternatively colored trees (If my house was bigger, we’d have a red tree and a green tree, potentially in the same room. :)) and they had a nice, plushy silver tinsel tree that I fell in love with. If I could, I’d attach a photo of our our absurdly bright xmas tree, but since I can’t, here’s link to it on my Instagram page: http://www.instagram.com/p/BdJIYTVnh90/?taken-by=scrappyrat
    Enjoy!

I have a beautiful glass Christmas tree with ornaments from Italy that was given to me by someone very special who is no longer here. I went to visit him in Sicily and saw the tree in a shop window but did not buy it, then when he came back to the states many months later he gave me a box and when I opened it, my tree was inside. My friend had driven back to Taormina and purchased it just for me. It holds so many good memories and love and I enjoy displaying it every year

What I love about our Christmas tree is the sparkling lights and the red velvety tree skirt. It just makes me happy to turn those lights on every evening and watch them shine all those different colors.

I love the colored lights. We have several ornaments that belonged to my grandmother, including her acorn village, paper houses and hand crocheted Christmas trees.

Christmas trees are so fun and we enjoy picking a color theme each year. My sis makes free standing lace pointsettias and snowflakes so we are going with red and white. Love your card example. Thank you

I actually have three very different trees. On the one that goes in my front window, I love how the lights twinkle on the tree and a lot of my special ornaments. Then I have a tree with a plush bear that I think is so cute, it has clear lights and I put beautiful bird ornaments on it. The last tree I put up I put twinkle lights on it with all my special plush ornaments. I should say that I’ve been collecting ornaments for the last 50 years. Christmas is one of my favorite holidays to decorate for. Thanks for the chance to win this great giveaway.

I love all the ornaments that we hang on our 6′ tree. Most of the ornaments are gifts…two to three new additions each year…one or two from a family member or friend & one or two made by me. The tree is so full now, that we are forced to purge some old ones to make room for the new.

I love my Christmas tree because I decorate it with hand-made ornaments from years past and with ones made recently. It evokes many heartfelt family memories of togetherness, joy, and love.

I have special ornaments that I hang every year, there are 2 that my husband bought me when we first started dating and put on our 1st tree together, then he bought me 2 for our children, they are now grown adults but I still hang them every year!

This is such a cool layout! I love how you created it and the dogs are adorable. 🙂 I look forward to Swarovski’s Annual Edition Ornament and I love adding them to my tree.

I love my Christmas tree. It is a “pencil” tree and easy to put up. It opens by pulling the top of the tree straight up and then folds down by allowing the branches to collapse. The tree, when collapsed, looks like a large Christmas wreath. I love it because it fits in a small space, like my apartment, and can be decorated in so many ways. While it is not the real pine or spruce of my youth, this Christmas tree is quick, easy and simple so that I can get going with other Christmas projects.

This sheet creates a stunning backdrop for this pretty layout. We try to find a new quirky ornament to add to the tree every year.

I love that my tree is fiber optic and that I changed the color wheel so that if goes from green to white to purple, and back again and again. Purple and lime green are my two favorite colors. So I decorate it in those colors and Snowmen in purple or green. I like vet it! Love it! Love it!

I had the hardest time every year deciding what colors/theme I wanted to use on my Christmas Tree. Several years ago I decided that instead of having one big tree I would have lots of small trees and decorate them all with different themes/colors (yes my family thought I was crazy lol) but I did it anyway. Now I have a small tree in each room of my house, I decorate each one differently every year. I use a combination of old family ornaments, new ornaments, handmade ornaments, lots of sparkle. Even with all the trees my favorite thing about every one of them is the lights – some sparkle, some twinkle, some flash, some steady, some colored, some white but all festive, fun, and gorgeous 🙂

I love that my Christmas tree has all of the ornaments from over the years and that I can look back and cherish the wonderful memories of the relatives that are no longer with us and the memories of the great times that we had together over the holiday.
