It was so much fun using the September kit from Cocoa Daisy. Opening up the box evoked memories of Christmas mornings when you didn’t know what goodies would be inside a present. I loved how well all the products coordinated, even though they were from a variety of manufacturers.

Today I’m sharing a few cards and a journal that were created using the kit. Here are the cards:

There were so many fun and different embellishments in the kit. This card uses one of the translucent plastic frames as well as my favorite thing in the whole kit – these super cool bicycle clips. Don’t you love them?

Luckily Therm O Web has adhesives for everything! iCraft™ tape was used to attach the frame… it’s strong enough to hold it in place, yet practically disappears behind the plastic.

Place iCraft™ tape along the edges of the frame. The 1/4″ tape fit perfectly.

Even though the wire bicycle is a paper clip, I wanted to add a little adhesive to make sure it didn’t slip down on the frame. A small Zot tucked on the end of the wire clip did the trick.

I love how it looks – and notice how you can hardly see the adhesive behind the frame?

For the other card, I used a few different layers which were all attached with a mini tape runner.

There is a small 3D Foam Square behind the end of the banner sticker to add some dimension. In addition, I used Sticky Dots behind the die cut “happy” and then removed the excess with an Adhesive Pick-Up Square. More foam squares behind the main sentiment and feather finish things off.

I liked the way the blue pattern on the journal looked with the papers, so I left the edges exposed. If yours doesn’t match, just cover the whole front and back with papers. I find it is helpful to remove the covers from the wire binding when working on something like this. Just carefully bend back the wires until the covers can be removed and when you are done, just bend them back.

Zots™ are the perfect adhesive for attaching flair to a project.

They lay nice and flat and hold it nice and secure.
