Hi Everyone, Daniela Dobson here today with another fun project from the Never Been Sitched book! There were several projects that caught my eye. I decided to combine two different projects into one.
I wanted to make a pillow and decorate the front.
I started with two 5 inch fabric squares and a smaller square about 3 3/4 inches, HeatnBond® Lite and HeatnBond® Hem.
I ironed on HeatnBond® Lite to my fabric and die cut the leaves and hand cut a flower from fabric. I applied the leaf to the fabric and stitched the details with a sewing machine.
Make a pillow by sewing the two 5 inch squares, right sides together, leaving a 2″ opening on one side. Turn right sides out and fill with batting. Close bottom seam together with HeatnBond® Hem. I added ribbon with buttons to each corner and some decorative pins to the center.
