Inking over the BRAND NEW Deco Foil Metallix Gel

One of the newest Therm O Web product lines is the Deco Foil Metallix Gel! I can’t rave enough about it! The Deco Foil Metallix Gel is NOT a paste, it is a gel which has a creamy texture and goes on buttery smooth… which means you can achieve a beautifully even application over a stencil!

Deco Foil Metallix Gel

It is available in 6 gorgeous metallic colors and dries quickly (depending on how thick you apply it). Click here for the colors and release information. One of my favorite ways to use the Metallix Gel is to use the White Pearl over a stencil on white cardstock. Once it is dry, you can use Distress Oxide inks to ink blend on top. The Metallix Gel acts as a resist!This technique would work with any of the colors of Metallix Gel, I just love the pearlescent tone on tone of applying White Pearl over white cardstock!  You can also blend just one color of ink in the center to create a halo of color to draw attention to the center of the card.If you would like to get a peek at all the colors of Metallix Gel and see how I ink blend over it, then check out my video here:
