This week, we are so excited to be joining up with our friends at Echo Park, sharing projects featuring Echo Park’s fabulous 12×12 paper kits and Therm O Web adhesives. Today I have three holiday cards to share, made with the adorable I Love Christmas collection.

My first card focuses on combining patterned papers from the kit with cardstock stickers to create a fun winter wonderland scene. I used strong black cardstock for the card base and sentiment strip to help ground all the elements, and framed the scene in a die cut window. A bit of red iCraft Deco Foil™ added to the frame really calls attention to the sweet little scene.

I love the chippy, distressed finish of applying the foil with the liquid adhesive like you see here. To achieve this look, simply apply the liquid deco foil™ Adhesive adhesive to random areas of the die cut using a wide flat paintbrush. When the adhesive to tacky to the touch, place the foil down onto the adhesive (silver side down and colored side up) and lightly burnish the foil with your fingertip. Repeat the process until the entire area is covered.

My second design is a CAS card featuring several elements cardstock stickers along with one of the 3×4 journaling cards from the double-sided papers.

To call attention to the cute little ginger, I popped the sticker up with iCraft™ double-sided adhesive foam. A tiny twine bow is easily attached using a Zots™ Clear Adhesive Dot to the back of the bow. Then I dressed my ginger up with a few holly leaves cut from the sticker sheet and bright red enamel dots.

My final card is another CAS design in a natural kraft and green color palette to coordinate with the woodland feel of the sweet deer sticker. I added a die cut round window to frame my deer, and embossed the kraft panel for a bit of extra detail on this otherwise simple design.

A round cardstock sticker sentiment picks up on the curve of the window opening. I added a holly leaf sticker and twine bow for a final little embellishment and detail.

enjoy!

Very cute…was wondering if we are able to sell cards that we make from your published blog in an Etsy shop. I apologize if I missed this somewhere and you have answered that.

Hi Jeannie…thank you for the question. We offer ideas in the hopes to inspire you in creating projects for yourself. However, we do not promote using the ideas and tutorials for profit. Hope that helps! Julia
