Layout Details

I started this layout with a piece of 12 x 12 white smooth cardstock.  I used several different Catherine Pooler inks in a rainbow of colors to stamp a couple of the stamps from the Hey You stamp set around the outside of my page.   This was made easier by using the full-sized scrapbooking Misti stamping tool.

I also used the Funny Faces stamp set to make cute faces out of the o’s in the you’s!

Next, because I knew it would have to dry, I used the Giant Rainbow stencil clouds with the Glitz Glitter Gel in White.  I just placed them on cardstock, because once they were dry, my plan was to fussy cut them out, so that I could pop them up.

After getting my clouds gelled, I started working on my flock, pastel rainbow.  Using Deco Foil Foam Adhesive, the flock transfer sheet in White Latte and some cardstock, I set to work.

I adhered one side of the foam adhesive to cardstock.  Once I had that down, I used the flock transfer sheet on top of the other side of the foam adhesive, flock side down, and ran thru my manual die cutter.  This will transfer the flock to the adhesive foam.  I carefully pulled back the flock transfer sheet and I had a canvas to create my rainbows on.

The Giant Rainbow Stencil is numbered for the rays of the rainbow and also the clouds (to put them together).  I lightly sprayed Pixie Spray on the back of my stencil and laid it down onto my flock.  Note:  I tested this and it does NOT pull the flock back up.  I ink blended my rainbow with blender brushes and Catherine Pooler ink.

There are two separate stencils to blend the rainbow.  Here I did steps 1, 3, and 5 while being careful not to overlap anything I had already ink blended.  I didn’t do it perfectly, but love how it turned out!

Next, you position the stencil, overlapping areas you have done and then blend 2, 4, 6. The Pixie Spray did not affect any of this ink blending at all and also held my stencil in place!  And then, bam!  You have multi-colored, pastel, flock rainbows!

I trimmed these out from the cardstock and then adhered my clouds with the Ultrabond Liquid Adhesive.  By doing the stencil this way, it let me pop the rainbows and clouds up with foam adhesive!

Ekks..how fun is that?!!  I just love how these turned out!  To finish my layout up, I used just some scrap pieces of paper from the paper collection that I had already cut up.  I used foam squares and my Memory Runner XL to adhere them in place.

After I finished adding a few details to my layout, I used the new pink pen from Ink Blot Shop for my journaling and doodling around the page. These pens are fab and I want all the colors!!

So, grab some Deco Foil Flock, Deco Foil Foam Adhesive, Glitz Glitter Gel along with fun products from the Ink Blot Shop!  You will have fun creating with them!
