Hi again, it is Amy from  Sew Incredibly Crazy bringing a bit of sunshine to your home decor just in time for spring (and summer!) for our Sunny Days week here at Therm O Web.

A Little Sunshine Trivia for today…

Our Sun doesn’t have an official scientific name, however, there is one other common name for it: Sol. This name originates from the ancient Roman god of the Sun, Sol. This alternate name is where we get the term “solar system”, which means the system of the Sun.

Hello Sunshine Pattern Instructions:

Cutting instructions:

Background: 16 1/2″ square

For the yellow border:
2 – 2 1/2″ x 16 1/2″
2 – 2 1/2″ x 20 1/2″

Hello Sunshine Pillow Assembly:

With the HeatnBond Lite, trace the Hello Sunshine Pattern Pieces or use the HeatnBond Lite EZ-Print Iron-On Adhesive Sheets.

The latter was the method that was used.  Cut a 1/4″ from pattern and iron to the wrong side of the fabrics.

Cut out around the line. Remove the paper backing and iron to the desired location.  Use the photo as a reference.

Stitch around the pattern pieces.

Create an envelope style back to the pillow. Finish and Enjoy!

Hi Carol…I’ve put the patterns into a downloadable file. Perhaps you can test these first onto plain copy paper and make sure they’ll line up for you. Sunshine Applique Pattern
