Hello Spring with Plush Papers

Hi! Hello! Hey there! I’ve got some fun cards for you today using the new Color Harmony Multi Packs in shades of Orange and Green (mostly!).

I started by foiling up some toner card fronts… and that top one was fun…

I used scraps to foil it in strips of color.

I foiled some solid toner card fronts to die cut from and used them to cut these awesome large sentiments from Waffle Flower Crafts out of.

I cut the shadows for the sentiments from some pretty green Plush Paper.

I popped the Hi up onto the green foiled background and then cut this pretty floral from more Plush Paper and the the flower backing from orange foiled toner paper.

Then I adhered the backing to the stems and added them to the card front, tucked under the Hi sentiment.

I just love the orange and green together! Feels like Spring!

Here’s my multi colored background! Did you notice that the foil I die cut my sentiments from is not quite as shiny as usual? Sometimes I like to run the foiled toner paper through a second time to give the foil a tiny bit less shine.. it gives them a pretty glowy not quite matte finish that I love!

I added a little bit of pink and yellow to this one. I love tulips! I can’t grow them here in Arizona because there isn’t enough of a cold season… although I’ve learned that you can put the bulbs in the freezer for a while and that might work so I’ll be giving that a try. In the meantime some pretty foiled tulips are just the ticket.

And finally this one. There are so many different ways you can use your foil including the leftovers and scraps!

I foiled those pretty flowers in orange (I didn’t use that one today), and then I took the leftover foil and laid it over a panel of toner paper and ran it through the Fuse.

It’s so fun to pull off the film and see your design transferred to the toner paper…. but then…

You can run it through with another color of foil… like … idk.. green! And it will foil the black lines… and now I have another leftover sheet to use…

I used some strips up on a plain piece of toner paper too for die cutting!

This is the one I cut the hey out of for a two color sentiment.

I had some fun with this one and added the sentiment at a slant and then used half of that cool circle from Waffle Flower and added some rainbow rays from A Jillian Vance Design and tucked it behind the Hey… it kind of reminds me of a shirt I had when I was younger.
