Whimsy Stamps Anniversary Card with Deco Foil
For the first card, I start by spraying Pixie Spray on the stencil so it will hold to the paper well. I use a box so the adhesive spray doesn’t get on my table and other items. I find this works extremely well.
Next, I am ready to apply the Deco Foil Transfer Gel Duo.
After I have applied the Transfer Gel Duo I leave the cardstock in the box to dry so I don’t have any smudging.
Once the transfer gel Duo dries in about 30-45 mins we’re ready to foil. Make a paper sandwich with your parchment paper that is folded in half…insert your card base, a piece of foil with the color side up…dull grey side down onto the Transfer Gel design. And then place in the parchment paper and insert into your laminator fold first.
I get so excited peeling back that foil every time! The result is just beautiful!
Next, I die cut the tag with white cardstock. I like to use a Misti to stamp my images in case I don’t get a clear image the first time.
Using Gina K’s Passionate Pink cube ink, I stamped the sentiment.
Now here is the rest of the supplies to put the card together.
Black cardstock cut at 4 1/3 X 5 1/2 then tie the bow across the cardstock and use the XL adhesive runner to adhere to the foiled stencil to the black cardstock. Then using the foam squares, mount the die cut and the stamped sentiment.
The finished card is a sweet Anniversary themed card.
The detail of the Transfer Gel Duo and foil is beautiful.
For the next card, I used the Sending Sunshine stamp set to create a fun collage with the Rina K Electro Pop inks.
Colorful Card with Whimsy Stamps
Next, I stamped the sentiment on the die-cut.
Now this card is ready to assemble. I used 4 1/2 x 5 1/2 green cardstock to layer the stamped collage cardstock to. I backed the die cut sentiment with a die-cut piece of deco flock.
Then I tied some twine and used the 3D foam squares to adhere the sentiment.
Both cards turned out really fun and colorful!
Thank you so much for stopping by today! Don’t forget to enter to win the drawing!
