I started this layout by cutting out a large circle in the Echo Park Magical Birthday tan polka dot paper on my cutting machine and then distressing the edge. I then backed it with the red star paper from the collection. I went to work on my title around the circle by using all three of the “happy” words from the Unity Transfer Sentiments sheet.
I started this by first cutting out my happy words, peeling off the backing, and placing it onto my project directly. I then ran this through my laminator with the new Craft Carrier sheet and then peeled off the transfer sheet to expose the adhesive. Next came the fun part- adding the deco foil! I cut pieces of the Deco Foil in Lapis Watercolor and placed them on top of my Happy words. Next, I ran through my laminator again with the craft carrier sheet and out came the shiny goodness!
See that grungy stamping behind my photos? I absolutely love to incorporate stamping on my layouts and the Coffee Components stamp set by Unity did not disappoint! I’ve used it with distress oxides in Speckled Egg and Black Soot!
I added layers behind my photos using the Memory Tape Runner XL and 1/2″ Easy Tear Tape to adhere them to my page. I added some finishing embellishments and tags to the bottom and then used the iCraft Ultrabond Permanent Adhesive to adhere the tiny bits down!
