It’s Lisa Ruble from Quilty Zest and I am so excited about this project – I can’t wait to share it with you! You can grow your own garden of fabric flowers!
I had this idea about a month ago and have been experimenting and refining ever since. This is a no-sew project (except for a little handstitching to make the yo-yo flower center). Choose your flower colors based on your fabrics, and experiment with size, number of petals, and petal edges. Each bloom will be unique!

Here’s a look at what you’ll need for supplies.
- Fat eighths or scraps of fabric (I used my Find Your Way fabric collection from Benartex)
- HeatnBond Craft Extra Firm Fusible Interfacing
- HeatnBond Lite Sewable
- straight pins with a decorative head
