Hello Crafty Friends!!

Today I’m sharing two ADORABLE Cards that I’ve made using the NEW Gina K. Designs Gnome for the Holidays Stamp-n-Stencil Craft Kit!! It went SUPER FAST!!

Gnome Cards with Gina K. Designs

For my first card, I wanted to create a SWEET Scene using the coordinating Stamp Set included in the Kit!!
(TIP: This is a Kit, but think outside of the Kit and how you could use this Stamp Set for Scenes on other Cards using Images from other Sets you may already have in your Stash!! It’s such a versatile set all on its own!!)

I started by creating my Background!! I Stamped the Mountain Image in the center of my Card Panel using Hickory Smoke Distress Ink using my MISTI Stamping Tool!! I stamped it 2 times in order to get a really crisp image!! Then I heat set it!! Next, I added some Peacock Feathers Distress Oxide Ink with an Ink Blender!! Then I added the Hill using the coordinating Stencil and some Hickory Smoke Distress Oxide Ink!! I added some Water Splatters for some Dimension!!

Next, I Created the Sweet Christmas Tree using the coordinating Dies and Die Cutting the Tree from some Green Envy Deco Foil Flock Sheets after I adhered the Green Envy Deco Foil Flock to a Piece of Green Cardstock using the Easy Cut Adhesive Sheets and running it through my Die Cutting Machine to burnish it into the adhesive!! I peeled back the Protective Sheet and Die Cut the Tree!! It die cuts like Butter!!

Next, I Sprayed the backside of the coordinating Stencil with some Pixie Spray and applied it over the Die Cut Tree!! Then I applied some Lovely Lavender Gina K. Designs Glitz Glitter Gel using my Stencil Pal and Set it aside to Dry!!

Once Dry I replaced the Stencil over the Tree Die Cut lining up the Ornaments and applied the Gina K. Designs Iridescent Glitz Glitter Gel and set it aside to dry!!

I wanted to add some Flocked Peaks to the Mountains, so I adhered a piece of Blue Sky Deco Foil Flock Sheets to a Piece of Blue Cardstock using some Easy Cut Adhesive Sheets and ran it through my Die Cutting machine to burnish the Flock into the adhesive!! I removed the Protective Sheet and then Die Cut the Mountain Peaks!!

I wanted to add some Shading as I find it really makes the Flock POP so I applied some Peacock Feathers Distress Oxide Ink using my Blender Brush!!

I knew I wanted to create the Gnomes Beards from some of the White Latte Deco Foil Flock Sheets so I adhered a piece of White Latte Deco Foil Flock Sheets to a Piece of White Cardstock using some Easy Cut Adhesive Sheets and ran it through my Die Cutting machine to burnish the Flock into the adhesive!! I removed the Protective Sheet and then Die Cut both of the Gnome Beards cutting one of them twice!!

Once I Die Cut them I wanted to add some Hickory Smoke Distress Oxide Ink using a Blender Brush to add some Shading!! I LOVE how it really makes them POP!!

I wanted to create some REALLY FUN Gnome Hats, so I looked through my Negative Foiling Stash and found some FUN Patterns that are PERFECT for creating Decorative Foiled Hats!! SWOON!! The Gina K. Designs Foil-Mates Backgrounds make a PERFECT choice for this, or you can also use any number of Stencils along with some Deco Foil Transfer Gel Duo and use the Negative Foil Sheet to apply to some of the Deco Foil Toner Sheets and run it through a Laminating Machine!! I’ve used the NEW Prince Periwinkle Deco Foil!!

Next, I Cut a Piece of the Gina K. Designs Sparkling Silver Fancy Foil and placed it over the Foiled Deco Foil Toner Sheet and ran it back through my Laminating Machine!!

The finished results are AMAZING!! SWOON!! I just LOVE this combination of Colors and Foils together!!

(TIP: Keep that Sparkling Silver Negative and repeat the steps to either create the reverse of this Design or mix it up and pair it with a different Foil Color and you’ve got another FUN Patterned Foil Cardstock to use for Die Cutting or Stenciling or anything else you feel like using it for!! ENDLESS possibilities!!)  I Die Cut the Hat and the Shoes both from this Patterned Foiled Toner Sheet and I just LOVE the personality it adds to the Gnome!! Make me SMILE!!

Next, I created the Outfits for the Gnomes and I wanted to add some texture to them so I used the coordinating Stencil to add some Patterns!! (TIP: This Stencil really isn’t designed to use with the outfits, but remember to think OUTSIDE of the Box and use the different patterns for the outfits or for other FUN Textural Elements for your Cards/Projects) 
Here’s a Look at this Cutie all put together!! I used Copic Markers in E00, E11 & E13 for the Nose and I used Ultra Bond Adhesive to glue all of the Element together!! Then to step up the Design I added a Large Star Sequin with an Iridescent Jewel to the center and a White Pom-Pom to the very top of the Gnome Hat!! I adhered him to the Card Panel using some Gina K. Designs Foam Squares!!

I Stamped and Embossed the Sentiment using Versa Fine Black Onyx Ink and WoW Neutral Shimmer Embossing Powder and I LOVE the added touch of Sparkle it adds to the Card!!

Here’s a look another look at the finished Card!! I LOVE all of the texture, Color Combo, and touches of Sparkle!! This is SURE to make someone SMILE this Holiday Season!!

For my next card, I’m using some of the exact same Techniques just switching up the Colors and Design!! I’m using the EXACT same Green Envy Deco Foil Flock Tree, the White Latte Deco Foil Flock Beards, and the Patterned Outfits!! The only thing changing is the Background and the Patterned Foiled Hats and coordinating Shoes!!

I started with the negative to the Gina K. Designs Turquoise Sea Fancy Foils that was a Negative leftover from one of her older Basket Weave Foil-Mates!! I placed it over a Deco Foil Toner Sheet and ran it through my Laminating Machine!!

I removed the Film and then cut a Piece of the Gina K. Designs Twinkling Pink Fancy Foil and placed it over the Foiled Deco Foil Toner Sheet and ran it back through the Laminating Machine!!

SWOON!! I LOVE this Color Combo and the FUN Pattern!! Again, KEEP that Negative Foil and repeat the process to create the reverse of this Design, or switch it up by using a different color for a completely different look!! ENDLESS Possibilities!!

So I chose to use the Negative Twinkling Pink Fancy Foil and placed it over a piece of Deco Foil Toner Sheets and ran it through my Laminating Machine!! Then I removed the Film and cut a piece of the Gina K. Designs Glittering Green Fancy Foil and placed it over the Foiled Deco Foil Toner Sheet and ran in through my Laminating Machine again!!

Here’s a close up look at these CUTIES Put together!! Again I Die Cut both of the Hats and the Shoes from the FUN Patterned Foiled Sheets that we created!! SWOON!! I just LOVE the Colors and Pattern as it really gives these Gnomes LOTS of Personality!! I adhered some coordinating Mini Jingle Bells to the ends of the Hats for some extra Sparkle and Holiday Cheer!!

Here’s another look at these CUTIES!! I LOVE all of the Sparkle and Shine!! Just makes me HAPPY!!

Again I Stamped and Embossed the Sentiment from the sentiment using Versa Fine Black Onyx Ink and WoW Neutral Shimmer Embossing Powder!! I just LOVE that Iridescent Sparkle!!

Here’s the Finished Card!! I hope I’ve INSPIRED you today with some ways to use up those Negative Foil Pieces you might have in your stash, and if you don’t have any you can create your own with Stencils, Toner Patterned Papers, or even just my using the Deco Foil Transfer Gel Duo!!
