Have you ever found yourself in need of a birthday card that simply wasn’t available to buy? I have a card to share today that can be easily customized for any birthday.

A few weeks ago a dear friend of mine celebrated her 102nd birthday!

However, I was in such a rush to get to the party that I didn’t have time to photograph the card I made for her this year (lately it feels like all I do is rush from one thing to the next… I’m really looking forward to the end of the school year). Anyway, I did happen to photograph last year’s card and thought I could share that with you instead as the general concept is the same.

I stamped the label image and then die cut the numbers and added glitter… last year I had to use liquid glue and it was pretty messy… this year I simply die cut the numbers from a sheet of the new iCraft adhesive, adhered the numbers to my card, and sprinkled glitter on top – the glitter stuck to the iCraft and not to the rest of my card – quick, easy, and much less mess (plus, no need to peel dried glue from your fingers afterwards!)

I used my XL Tape Runner to adhere the papers as well as to hold the ribbon in place.

Thanks for stopping by!

Beautiful card. I love the idea of putting the numbers where you did. Very creative.
