Apply Glitz Glitter Gel with a Stencil Pal

First things first, we have to set the stage for this spooky occurrence and create some eerie eyes watching our every move! Wild Lilac Glitz Glitter gel applied with a Stencil Pal to an Echo Park stencil that is temporarily tacked down with Pixie Spray is the perfect way to get things started, creating a spooky base layer upon which to build.

Next, give your layout a sinister air with the glowing eyes of this jack o’ lantern! While plain old orange cardstock behind the die-cut would suffice, why settle when you can add some Sweet Mango Glitz glitter gel for that glow of a candle burning?

Add Flock Embellishments for Dimension

Sprinkle more fun and festivity about the page with some flocked jack o’ lanterns. The orange flock on top of foam adhesive sheets run straight through your manual die cut machine with a die without fuss and makes for easy embellishment creating. Just as I have done with the stars sprinkled throughout the page, lighting up the page to illuminate the way for the trick o’ treaters!

As always, I have a process video for you if you click the link below. The first few minutes of the video include how to use Pixie Spray to secure your stencil to your page for effortless Glitz gel application and creating the pumpkins with DecoFoil Flock transfer sheets and foam adhesive. Towards the end of the video, to wrap up the creative process is where you will see how I created the flock stars.

Thanks for stopping in today! I hope your Halloween (should you celebrate) is about as normal as it can be, under the circumstances. Happy Halloween!
