Get Well Card with Candy Stripes Toner Sheets

To get started I used a sheet of Tuscan Gold Deco Flock and ran it thru an older polka dot embossing folder to make my band-aid strips. This folder is a long-time resident in my craft stash. I just love it and it was perfect for making my own band-aid.

To create the rounded edges, I used a corner rounder from Creative Memories. Whew is this tool old too! I bet you’ve got one in your stash as well.

For the center of the bandaid, I cut a square of 1×1 cardstock and inked it.

Next, I stamped a funny face on the band-aid.

I used some other lil’ band-aid stamps to decorate the card front and stamped my sentiment. The stamp set I used is from Paper Smooches.

I always foil my toner sheets first when I am creating with them. I used the kraft stripe pattern with some Glimmering Gold Fancy Foils by Gina K. Designs.

I colored in the mini band-aids with my Copic marker.

Using our 3D Foam Squares, I adhere my stamped card base to the foiled toner sheet. Here’s the finished boy’s card. So cute and fun!

Get Well Card with Dainty Hearts Toner Sheet

For the second girl-themed card, I foiled our new dainty hearts toner sheets with red deco foil transfer sheets. Next, I stamped my image.

and using Copic markers I colored them. Then I fussy cut the kitty.

Next, I stamped my sentiment.

And layered it on a heart I cut using our Ruby Red Deco Foil Flock Transfer Sheets.

Using our 3D foam squares, I mounted the sentiment to the center of my card. I felt my white die-cut was too plain so to make this card pop, I cut the frame from Avery Elle out again with our

I finished off this cute card with the stamped kitty!

So there you have it. Two fun and easy get-well cards for kids. Thank you for joining me today. Please do share your Therm-O-Web creations with us via social media using the hashtags #decofoil, #thermoweb, and #decofoilflock

Have a creative day!

So cute and something we don’t always think of out here in the field, that kids like cards, too.
