Fun Fringe Scarf- Never Been Stitched Book

Today I am one lucky gal to talk about the book Never Been Stitched. I love this book! Can’t say enough good things about it. The projects– totally doable. Simple, quick, great for beginners, or even advanced sewists looking for a cute project.

The variety of projects is fantastic, a little bit of everything which is a good thing to have.

I was totally loving the fringe scarf so that is what I decided to try out.

A little bit ago I had gone through the closet, so there was a pile of shirts just waiting in the garage for me! I dug until I found the one that I thought that would work good. It’s a classic blue jean blue….matching most of what I wear.

There was a bit of stitching at the seams in white thread, which I really liked and I think added to the projects final look.

Because the shirt wasn’t that big, I did have to do some sewing end to end with smaller pieces to get the right length. I love how it turned out.

It’s not a heavy scarf, but it is one that could be worn during spring or fall….or just because.
