Friendship Gift Set with Deco Foil Transfer Gel

Happy Galentine’s Day Therm O Web fans! It’s Juliana with you here today and if you aren’t familiar with this special day, let me tell you a bit about it. Galentine’s Day is basically like Valentine’s Day, but instead of celebrating the love you have for your significant other, you celebrate the friendship you have with your best girlfriends.

To celebrate this special day, I’m sharing a handmade, coffee themed gift set I created using Therm O Web’s Deco Foil™ and NEW Transfer Gel. The gift set I made includes an interactive shaker card and a decorated tin, full of yummy coffee beans! This same idea could easily be used for a tea themed gift set as well, by simply switching out the coffee beans for tea bags.

Friendship Gift Set Instructions:

Begin by using the Deco Foil™ Transfer Gel and a stencil to create the coffee stain background on both the card front and on the top of the tin. Once the gel is dry, adhere Amber Watercolor Deco Foil to give it a glam coffee stained look! Shaker cards are always a fun gift to make and because they are interactive, they always seem to put a smile on the recipients face. Once the foiling was completed, I adhered the die cuts using a Memory Tape Runner XL. I used the Mixed Media Liquid Adhesive to adhere the wood veneer.

To create the cover for the tin, place the tin top side down onto a piece of cardstock and then trace around the edge of the tin with a pencil. Use scissors to trim off the excess. Repeat the same process as you used on the card front to decorate the tin cover.
