Hello and welcome to Monday!  Hoping you all had a wonderful weekend!  So, my daughters are just in love with pinwheels these days…they draw and/or create them daily for a friend, for one another, or just because.

Wanting to document their love for pinwheels, I created a little keepsake for our home:

I paired them with some sweet sentiments and added the pinwheel tags to a frame:)

And here’s how we create these pinwheels:

Start with any sized square…this one happens to be 3×3″.  I’ve marked in black where to make the cuts, leaving about the size of a dime in the center uncut.

After making the cuts, I add a 3D Zot to the center.  The dimension is perfect because it grabs onto the corners so nicely.

You will fold each half of each triangle up so the tip holds onto the Zot.

And then embellish the center any way you wish.  I chose to wrap some bakers twine around an ICraft Dot.

Here’s the fabulous Therm O Web products used on this project:

Sticky Dot Runner

Foam Squares

3D Zots

ICraft Dots

Thanks for stopping by, and let us know what you think about our new ICraft line!
