Hello Therm-O-Web friends! Shemaine here today with some fun gift tags I created using our Deco flock and some flower dies from my stash. I don’t know about you but I love going into my stash and pulling out things I haven’t used in a while.

Gift Tags with Deco Foil Flock Flowers

This project gave me the opportunity to dust off my favorite stitched flowers dies from My Favorite Things. I knew the stitching would show up well with the Deco flock colors. Our Deco flock is fun and super easy to use.

For today’s project, I plan to use our 3D foam squares to adhere the flowers to give them dimension but another great way to use the Deco flock is to apply our Deco Foil Foam adhesive to the back and simply peel and stick the die cuts to your project.

So to get my tags started I cut out a trio of tags with my very favorite stitched tag die from Lil’ Inker Designs. Sadly, when I went to link the product I discovered that they closed their doors in February of this year but I googled stitched tags and there are many offerings available from a variety of manufacturers if you’d like to re-create this project. I chose a cardstock that had a grid to make it easier for me to line up my sentiment stamps when stamping them.

Next, I chose to use pink carnation,  teal waters, and blue sky Deco transfer flock to cut my stitched flowers with. I also cut some flowers with pink carnation and a few leaves with regular green cardstock.

For the sentiments on my tags, I chose to use the Jars Sentiments from Waffle Flower. We’ve partnered with them for some really fun project weeks and this is one of the stamp sets they sent me to create with. It has a variety of fun sentiments for several different themes.

I stamped my sentiment on the die-cut tag using Versafine Black Onyx ink and then started creating my layered flowers out of the die-cut flock colors.

Using our 3D foam square stickers, I adhered the die-cut flocked flowers to the tag.

I really love adding seed beads to the center of my flowers and as accents to my other projects. Using some Glossy Accents I added them in 3’s to the centers of my flowers and on the tags. I found these beads in the $1 section at Michaels.

I finished my tags with some baker’s twine tied in a bow. Super cute right?

For the next two tags, I am repeating the design with a different sentiment for each one from the Jar Sentiments set.

These flowers are fun to create and easy to layer. The flock really does bring out the details in the stitching.

The finished trio is ready to attach to a gift bag or a pretty house plant!

Thank you for stopping by today!
