Hello friends, Ellen here! Today I like to share with you my cards for the plants and flower week!
Flocked Flower Cards with Deco Foil
I love Deco Foil Flock and one of my favorite ways to use flock is with Foam Adhesive Sheets.
On the ThermOWeb website, you can find information on how you can use all products.
Als for Flock. You can find a video and textual information.
First, you cut a piece of flock slightly larger than the dies you want to do. Then you peel the paper liner off the front side of the foam design to expose the adhesive. Place flock (color side facedown) onto the exposed adhesive and run through a manual die-cutting machine to apply pressure. Next, you can peel away the flock sheet from the foam design. As a last step, you can remove the remaining liner and apply a flocked design to the project.
Next, I used the wonderful new Deco Foil Adhesive Transfers (find the video here).
You can use them on die-cut paper banners. You carefully peel off the clear bottom liner and position the transfer on the banner printed side up. Place your project inside a folded Deco Foil Craft & Carrier Sheet and run through a hot laminator.
Remove your project from the carrier sheet and slowly peel back the printed top liner to reveal the clear adhesive design. Cut a piece of foil slightly larger than the design and place it, color side up, on top of the adhesive. Return your project to the folded carrier sheet and run it through your laminator. Remove your project from the carrier sheet and gently peel away the foil sheet to reveal your design!
Another fun way to use flock is to use Deco Foil Transfer Gel.
Use Pixie Tape to hold the stencil in place. Apply Deco Foil Transfer Gel across the stencil using the Deco Foil Stencil Pal or palette knife. Let dry until completely clear. Cut a piece of flock slightly larger than the design. Place design facedown onto the colored side of the flock. Place project inside a folded piece of parchment paper, keeping flock on the bottom. Run through the hot laminator twice, leading with the creased edge. Once cool, peel away the flock sheet to reveal the flocked design.
I applied two layers of the flock on this card. It’s so fun to use stencil sets by using the gel.
