Create a fun USA fireworks Deco Foil Tote Bag
Howdy, it’s Jamie Mueller of Sunflower Quilts back with a fun, quick, patriotic project just in time for July 4th. Great project to take with you to the beach, pool or holiday BBQ! Also, would work great on t-shirts too! Then add a family name to the center!
Supplies for Fireworks Deco Foil USA Tote:
Tote Bag (I found mine at Target for $5!)
DecoFoilâ„¢ Adhesive Spray Adhesive
DecoFoilâ„¢ Transfer Sheets in patriotic colors (I used red, gold, deep blue, ocean blue and silver stars)
Printed USA map image (I printed on regular paper)
Oliso Iron
Parchment Paper
USA Deco Foil Tote Directions:
- Cut out USA map image and place where desired onto the tote bag. Spray DecoFoil Adhesive spray around the entire image onto tote bag making sure all edges are covered. Remove paper and follow drying instructions on the spray can.
2. While waiting for the adhesive spray to dry, cut random sized pieces of Deco Foil Transfer Sheets.
3. Place DecoFoil pieces (wrong side down) onto adhesive spray in a scattered manner. Placing them randomly will make it look like fireworks bursting around the USA map.
4. Place parchment paper onto DecoFoil, making sure to cover all of the foil. Following package instructions, iron over all DecoFoil until secure and let cool.
5. Once the Deco Foil has completely cooled down (as per package instructions) peel off left over DecoFoil pieces.
6. Your Fireworks USA Tote is now finished and ready to take to your July 4th BBQ, the pool or beach! Enjoy!
