Hi! It’s Lisa Ruble from Quilty Zest!
I’m so excited to share my latest project with you – a Crossbody Bag that I made to wear at QuiltCon! The bag is the perfect size to hold my cell phone, business cards and stickers to hand out, and a little velcro pocket for money/credit cards. I’ll be sharing how to make this bag in a Facebook Live in the Therm O Web Craft Room Facebook Group! Join me tonight at 7:30 PM CST to learn how to make a Crossbody Bag of your own! Scroll down to find the cutting instructions.
Don’t forget to join the Therm O Web Facebook Group prior to our live by clicking here and answering the questions to join!
I made this bag using my new Find Your Way collection from Benartex (see a list of shops carrying the fabrics here). I used two different weights of Fusible Interfacing to give this bag a little body. Here’s a look at all of the supplies I used:
Fabric: Find Your Way (I’m showing the whole line in the picture, but I used the Yellow, Orange, Dark Teal and Teal Wander, Multi Cairns, and Multi Traverse.
For sturdiness, I used HeatnBond Craft Fusible Interfacing and HeatnBond Medium Weight Fusible Interfacing.
This bag goes together so quickly – I hope you’ll join me to learn how!
