Hello Card with Glitz Glitter Gel

For this card, I started with some Catherine Pooler inks and layered the first layer of the stencil. I ran out of our Purple Tape so I had to use washi tape to secure the stencil and block off the places I did not want to stencil.

Next, I inked the next layer of the stencil with a nice mint color that contrasted well with the pink.

For the 3rd layer, I applied the Turquoise sea glitz glitter gel so that the detail would stand out.

Next, I cut a border strip in matching pink cardstock.

And layered it across the little boo boo of ink I made while inking my card base with our XL iCraft Memory tape runner. See, mistakes can be covered with a good border strip.

Next, I used a sentiment die and cut it with black cardstock. I layered it over the border die with foam squares that I cut smaller.

I finished the card by layering the card base over black cardstock.

For the second card, I started by inking each row of the fringe background stamp. I chose some festive coordinating colors from Catherine Pooler.

Once I inked all the colors, I used the stencil to layer the gold Glitz glitter gel.

Once I lifted the stencil, I let the Glitz dry for a few hours.

While the Glitz was drying I stamped the images I wanted to use for my card from the Pinata party stamp set.

I also embossed them with clear embossing powder before I colored the images with my Copic markers.

Once my images were colored, I fussy cut the images and used foam squares to mount them to the card base.

Next, I adhered the glitzed background to a card base and then used our 3D Foam Squares to mount it to the base. What I love about our foam squares is how well they adhere to other elements.

Here is my finished card with a fun thank you die in Spanish. I could see me sending these out as thank you’s for a Birthday party. The Alpaca pinata is just TOO cute!  Pairing our Glitz glitter gel with this stamp set was so fun. I hope you like how it turned out as much as I do.

A big Thank you to Miss INK stamps for partnering up with us this week! I really enjoyed creating with these products and will look forward to shopping some of the new releases available now on their webpage here.

Have a creative day!
