Hi Friends!
My family is picking out our tree this week and hopefully putting it up and decorating it this weekend, so it’s time for some new handmade ornaments! I first created these for a quilt guild gift exchange, and I had so many people asking how to make them that I knew I needed to do a tutorial. These are loosely based on my Strippy Improv technique. They’re easy to make, each one is unique, and all you need are fabric scraps!
I will be showing how to make these ornaments in my next Facebook Live in the Therm O Web Craft Room Facebook Group. Join me tonight December 3rd, at 7:30 PM CST. And for those of you who have been asking, my son Benji will be joining me. 🙂
Here’s a look at what you need:
- Fabric scraps
- Muslin
- HeatnBond Lite Sewable Iron-on Adhesive
- HeatnBond Fusible Fleece
- HeatnBond Fabric Fuse Liquid Adhesive
- Ribbon or decorative cording
- Small buttons (optional)
Download the ornament templates here.
Watch the video replay here.
I hope you can join me for the Facebook Live! Don’t forget to join the Therm O Web Facebook Group prior to our live by clicking here and answering the membership questions to join!
