Facebook LIVE with Lisa: Strippy Fabric Ornaments

Hi Friends!
My family is picking out our tree this week and hopefully putting it up and decorating it this weekend, so it’s time for some new handmade ornaments! I first created these for a quilt guild gift exchange, and I had so many people asking how to make them that I knew I needed to do a tutorial. These are loosely based on my Strippy Improv technique. They’re easy to make, each one is unique, and all you need are fabric scraps!

• Fabric scraps
• Muslin
• HeatnBond Lite Sewable Iron-on Adhesive
• HeatnBond Fusible Fleece
• HeatnBond Fabric Fuse Liquid Adhesive
• Ribbon or decorative cording
• Small buttons (optional)

My name is Lisa and I'm a quilter. I was bitten by the craft bug early on in life, and have dabbled in drawing, beading, photography, and fabric. I learned to sew as a young girl, making clothes for my Cabbage Patch Kid, and then got into quilting about 22 years ago and never looked back. Modern quilting is my style of choice, and I particularly love improv piecing.
