Father’s Day Printable Mason Jar Gift and Card
Download the free Father’s Day Printable and print it using a laser printer. You can do this at home or have it printed at your local printer.
After the images are printed, it’s time to select which designs you want to use. This printable is designed to give you a couple of options to mix and match to create your own design. There are two options for the label, the card sentiment, the card front, and the mason jar wrap. Once you’ve decided, cut them apart using scissors or a paper trimmer.
Now for the fun….it’s time to foil! Select 2 of your favorite foil colors or maybe even Dad’s favorite colors. Position the foil over the printed image and run it through your preheated laminator. Remember to observe which direction the grain or lines are running on the backside of the foil and then feed the foil into the laminator so that the lines are running horizontally to the opening of the laminator to help eliminate wrinkling.
Once you are finished foiling the printable, it’s time to assemble your card. Trim the foiled design down to 4 x 5.25 and mount it onto a coordinating piece of cardstock cut to 4.25 x 5.5.
Use a Memory Tape Runner XL to adhered the layers together and then to adhere this to the front of the card base. To give the sentiment a little pop, adhere it using White 3D Foam Squares.
To decorate the mason jar, simply wrap the long foiled strip around the jar and use a piece of SuperTape to hold it together. Next, use 3D Foam Squares to adhere the label.
The final step is to fill the mason jar with some of Dad’s favorite treats. This can be anything from chocolate covered pretzels (as I used) to his favorite candy. Feel free to fill it with things he loves!
