Father’s Day Card Instructions:
Since we’re making cards for him, I used the DECO FOIL™ TRANSFER SHEETS • AMBER WATERCOLOR paired with the GINA K. DESIGNS FOIL-MATES™ BACKGROUNDS • STARS & STRIPES.
I ran the Foil-Mates through my laminator.
I’ve been trying to come up with a way to use the negative foil after applying it and then it occurred to me that I could adhere it to acetate and use it for cards.
So I used GINA K. DESIGNS PREMIUM CARDSTOCK 8.5″ X 11″ • WHITE and one of the GINA K. DESIGNS (3) NESTED RECTANGLE DIES • DOUBLE STITCH DESIGN • SMALL SET to create a window on my card.
Next, I adhered the foil to the acetate using our MEMORY TAPE RUNNER XL™ and then adhered the foil to the inside of the card.
I finished the card off by adding some die cuts and a button and twine. I then used the Foil-Mates sheet to create another card with the same design.
I hope you’ll try using your negative foil sheets to create with. We’d love to hear what your ideas are.
