Hello there. Shemaine here today sharing a super fast project with iCraft® Easy Cut Adhesive. If you’re a teacher, you’re probably planning out your classroom decor for upcoming school year. I spotted these super cut pencil banners in the $3.00 section at Target. That area is SO addicting right?

Pencil Banner
Project Instructions:
Since this banner is already decorated as mini pencils, I only needed to choose what I want it to say. I went with WRITE because my daughter had a special bulletin board in her 3rd Grade class where her teacher displayed their writing projects. I thought this would be so cute hanging above all their work.
I used the iCraft® Easy-Cut Adhesive to back a black heavy weight chevron embossed cardstock sheet and placed it on the cutting mat for my Cricut with the cardstock facing down. It’s important to cut images this way because the backing of the Easy-Cut Adhesive will not stick to the Cricut cutting mat. Then I chose the font I wanted to use and cut the letters.
Make sure you check the Mirror image button in Design Space before you cut so the letters are cut like an iron on and when you pull them off, the adhesive is on the back of your die cut. All of my letters but the R did not need to be mirrored.
Just peel the backing off the die cut letters and adhere to your banner. It’s that easy. The iCraft® Easy Cut Adhesive has been my go to adhesive for any of my Cricut projects now.
Thank you for stopping by!
