Happy spooky October! Audrey here to share a fun Halloween layout using DecoFoils™ in THREE different ways. I used the Deco Foil™ Foam Adhesive Sheets, Deco Foil™ Liquid Adhesive on Wood Veneer, and I experimented with using the double sided Easy-Cut adhesive sheets, too.
Every year, part of the fun of getting out our Halloween Decor is trying on the bits and pieces of previous years costumes! I snapped these photos of my son playing around with some Vampire teeth.
I wanted to do something on the page related to vampires, so I found a dripping blood cut file in and made it the large top border of me page. I cut it out of the Easy-Cut double sided Adhesive sheets, leaving both sides of the paper backings on. I peeled off one layer of paper backing to adhere it to the page. I then slowly peeled off a bit at a time, adding the black Deco Foil™ as I went along. The foil did not have a complete, solid coverage, but that was part of the effect that I was hoping for. It still had a wonderful foil sheen, though.
Next, I cut my title using the DecoFoil™ Foam Adhesive Sheets, and a drippy-letters font. Then I rubbed on the black DecoFoil. I think of all the adhesives, the foam is my favorite and covers the best!
Finally, I added some liquid DecoFoil™ adhesive to some tiny wood veneer stars. Once they dried for a bit and were tacky to the touch, I rubbed on some Pumpkin DecoFoil™.
Finally, I popped up a few other bits and pieces on my layout using 3D White Foam Squares.
Hope you are having a Haunting October!!!
