It’s Katrina from Paper, Scissors and Glue today to share a fun fall project that won’t take you long at all to do! I LOVE fall and honestly, I am ready for it in July. But my favorite part of fall is all the decor and colors that are around. I love pumpkins and I also love leaves. So, I thought it would be fun to mix the two and add a little DecoFoil™ into the mix.

Start by cutting your pumpkin pieces out with your die cutting machine. Or you could easily hand cut a pumpkin also, if you do not have a die cutting machine. Layer the pumpkin pieces using Therm O Web 3D 1/2 inch foam squares.
Next using a leaf cut file, cut out leaves from the DecoFoil™ Toner Sheets. I used two full sheets for this project. And then you will foil them with various colors of the DecoFoil adhesive. The new watercolor foils in Emerald and Amber are PERFECT for fall projects. A tip to make it quicker to foil several leaves at once is to use a small piece of washi tape to hold the leaves in place on your cardstock as you run them thru the laminator.
Layer leaves using the 1/2 foam squares around the bottom part of your pumpkin. Add your stem and vine. Then make a bow with several strands of twine and adhere it using a 3D Zot. I just cut a small part off of the Zots™ without removing the covering. That way I had a small piece to use, but could save the rest of the Zot for another project.
I just love how the Emerald and Amber Decofoils™ look as leaves!
