Fa La La Meow! Holiday Cards with Deco Foil Transfer Gel

Hello there! Are you loving this week’s inspiration so far? We’ve teamed up with our friends at Newton’s Nook to share some fun ways to use Therm-O-Web’s awesome products along with Newton’s Nook awesome products!

I have a cute card I created using the Caroling Newton’s Nook stamp and Deco Foil Transfer Gel and Transfer Sheets by Therm-O-Web.

As soon as I saw the Evergreens Stencil I knew it would be fun to use our Deco Foil Transfer Gel with to create a fun background.

Evergreen Stencil

First, start by taping the stencil over the cardstock you are going to use with our Purple tape.

Apply the transfer gel evenly with a spatula and lift the stencil to reveal your design. Let dry for at least 2 hours. I love the transfer gel reveal, don’t you?

Using the Deco Foil Transfer Sheets in Emerald Watercolor, cut a sheet to cover the tree stencil and run through the laminator, let cool and lift to reveal the design. I love the watercolor foil on these trees.

Next stamp your design. I like using a Misti so if the image doesn’t stamp clearly, you can re-stamp to perfection.

Next, I used embossing powder to set the design so I can color the image with various Copic markers.

Using the die, I secure it with our purple tape to cut out the design.

I added some musical notes and my sentiment. Using our 3D foam squares, I placed the die cut cats on the card base.

I love how the trees really pop on this card. I hope you’ll get out your favorite stencils and try some of the transfer gel on your cards and projects.
