That time of the year is the time to sparkle—and what better way to spread that shine than with handmade cards that dazzle? Whether you’re wishing friends and family a joyful 2025 or adding a handmade touch to your 2026 celebration, these New Year’s cards made with Therm O Web’s Deco Foil products are guaranteed to impress.

We’re combining bold patterns, radiant foil finishes, and festive sentiments to create cards that truly pop! Let’s get started.

Step 1: Choose Your Toner Card Fronts

Start by selecting your favorite Deco Foil Toner Card Fronts for the base of your design. The Ray of Sunshine is perfect for bright, energetic vibes, while Star Spangled adds a celebratory firework-style flair.

Step 2: Choose and Add Foil

Choose your favorite Deco Foil Transfer Sheet (Prismatic Rainbow for an explosion of color or Lemon Drop – one of the newest Gina K. Designs Fancy Foils – for classic New Year’s glam).

Place the foil (colored side up) on top of the Toner Card Front, sandwich it inside a folded piece of parchment paper or Deco Foil Craft & Carrier Sheets, and run it through your preheated laminator. Next, you peel back the foil to reveal your gorgeous, foiled design—instant celebration

Cut the Toner Card Front to your desired card size or leave them full-sized for an impactful background.

Step 3: Add a Sentiment

Use the Deco Foil Toner Card Sentiments. – Summertime for fun phrases that can work well with a New Year’s theme. I used Silver Sparkle Deco Foil for the fireworks card sentiment and Gina K. Designs Tangerine Twist Fancy Foil for the sparkler card sentiment. Trim your sentiment and pop it onto your card with foam adhesive for dimension.

Step 4: Assemble Your Card

Adhere your foiled card front onto a blank cardstock base, adding a scalloped mat layer for interest. Add your foiled sentiment and finish off with optional embellishments for extra flair—think sequins, rhinestones, or numbers and other dies cut from glittery cardstock.
