Hello there! It’s Andrea back with you to share a fun Easter card featuring Deco Foil and Toner Card Fronts.
Hoppy Easter Card
The new Toner Card Fronts make creating cards so easy! With all of the different designs and sizes, the options are endless!
For my card I combined the Basket of Fun Toner Card Fronts with the Chic Chevron Kraft Toner Card Fronts. To the Basket of Fun panel, I applied Enchanted Rose Deco Foil, and to the Chic Chevron panel, I adhered Spring Green Deco Foil. I used my laminator to transfer the foil to both card fronts.
I trimmed a strip of the chevron panel and adhered it to a white card with the Memory Tape Runner XL. After die-cutting the egg panel with Whimsy Stamps’ Straight Edgers Dies, I affixed it with the tape runner. I tucked a strip of glitter tape under the egg panel for a bit more color and sparkle.
That adorable bunny is from Whimsy Stamps’ Hoppy Spring stamp. After stamping him with London Fog Memento Ink, I colored him with Copics and trimmed him out. To create that fun Easter basket, I used Whimsy Stamps’ Build-a-Basket Dies. For the basket, I die-cut the reverse of the leftover chevron panel and added texture with an embossing folder. I die-cut the eggs, grass, and bow from several colors of cardstock and assembled the basket with Mixed Media Adhesive.
I die-cut a circle from vellum and affixed the basket with Mixed Media Adhesive. I adhered the bunny to the circle with Gina K. Designs White Foam Squares and attached the circle to my card with the foam squares. I stamped a sentiment from the Hoppy Spring set, trimmed it with scissors, and popped it up with more squares. Finally, I embellished with a scattering of yellow enamel dots.

March 19, 2021 at 3:06 pm (3 years ago)Your card is adorable. I loved every bit of it. I notice that the foiling is much better than in the past. What’s the secret as I always seem to have places that aren’t foiled or show black? Is it the ThermoWeb parchment paper that makes such a difference?
