A friend of mine is having twins, a boy, and a girl.  It is hard to know what to get them nowadays.  So I usually buy diapers.  I know it doesn’t sound flashy but as a Mom, diapers are expensive, especially preemie diapers times two.   So I wanted to create just the right baby card to go with my gift.

Double Congrats New Baby Card with Deco Foil Flock

Since everyone is enjoying making slimline cards, I thought this would be the perfect shape of the card to go with.  To start I used “Brutus Monroe Not Your Mama’s Cardstock” and cut a piece to 7”x8.5”, then scored at 3.5” and folded it in half.

Next, I attached iCraft Ultra Bond Adhesive to the back of the Deco Foil Flock Transfer Sheets in Black Velvet and Sunshine Yello to a piece of baby-themed scrapbook paper.  Then I die cut out the Sunny Studio Sunny Snippet and the pieces I needed.  The Deco Foil Flock Transfer Sheets in Sunshine Yellow was the perfect scalloped background border and the Deco Foil Flock Transfer Sheets in Black Velvet for the ‘Congrats’.

Then Using my Misti I stamped out, colored and fussy cut two babies from the “Brutus Monroe Oh, Baby” stamp set.

Along with two bows, so that one could be a boy and one a girl.  After I assembled my die cuts, I attached my babies and bling with iCraft Ultra Bond Adhesive.
