DIY Deco Foil Free Summer Printable
Begin by gathering your supplies. This includes a laminator, iCraft DecoFoil Transfer Sheet in your choice of color and a Laser printed copy of the Free Summer Printable. You can download this file below. Print it using a laser printer at 100% to use in an 8×10 inch frame.
Tips & Tricks for Successful Foiling
Make sure to let your laminator heat up at least 30 minutes before you begin. Also, if it’s really humid where you live, I recommend cranking up the AC for a bit while you do this project. High humidity can sometimes cause the foil to not adhere well.
Another great tip when foiling is to make sure you place the foil into the machine so that the lines on the backside of the foil are running horizontally with the opening of the machine. In the picture below you can see these lines.TooltipText
Cover the printed image with your choice of foil and place it inside a piece of folded parchment paper. Once it comes out of the laminator, peel back the liner to reveal the foiled design.
