Desert Night Wintery Card with Deco Foil HOT foils

Shemaine here and today’s inspiration is a winter-themed travel card using our toner sheets, Fancy Foils and Deco Foil Flock. I wanted to create a winter-themed desert with some Deco Foil flock and Fancy Foil. The brilliant blue was the perfect starry night sky I envisioned for my card. Here are some of the supplies I used.

I wanted to create a starry night background for my card so I used a sheet of our Adhesive Toner sheets and foiled it with the Brillant Blue Fancy Foils.

The result was a perfect foiled background to start with as my base.

Next using a spellbinder mountain background die, I cut different colors of foil to coordinate with the brilliant blue foil. Once I cut them, I used a piece of our Double sided adhesive sheets to piece them together. Then I simply peeled the backing and adhered it to the foiled card base for a perfect fit.

Next, from the same set, I cut the leaves in gold foil cardstock to adhere to the card base over the flocked layers to create a design.

Then I used the circle to cut a moon and mount the leaves with our adhesive pen.

And embellished it with some gold bling. I love bling, don’t you? It always adds that extra something to a card.

Next, I foiled my sentiment using our new gold HOT foil.

The finished card is a fun winter-themed desert scene. I love how the foil perfectly depicts a starry night.
