It’s Katrina, from Paper, Scissors and Glue here with you today to share a layout with some DecoFoil accents on it. Foil is everywhere right now, and it’s mostly in gold and silver. BUT, with DecoFoil you have several colors to choose from for your projects. Today I am working with the Lime, Magenta and Turquoise colors.

1. Die cut shapes, either manually or with an electronic die cutter, out of cardstock. Cover die cuts with a thin layer of Deco Foil Liquid adhesive, using a brush or an old credit card to smooth the adhesive.
2. Let dry until clear.
3. Once dry, remove any adhesive off of the edges of the die cuts that may have come from applying the adhesive. Just break them off.
4. Take a sheet of the DecoFoil™ and apply to your die cut by rubbing in all directions. You may end up with some areas that aren’t covered. You can reapply a little more adhesive to those areas and repeat this process. Using the Deco Foil™ liquid adhesive with a brush will give you more of a distressed look than a very smooth look.
5. Use the Sticky Dot Mini Runner to adhere pieces of your layout together. Tip: Save pattern paper by cutting out large areas you may be covering with another large piece of paper. I have done that here.
6. Use Foam Squares to pop up areas of the layout where you want some dimension.
I popped up both borders, the center section that the pictures were on and also the arrow sticker.
7. Use Sticky Dot Sheets to apply detailed die cuts. The adhesive will only stick to the parts that need to stick down and its very easy to remove any excess that may be on the open edges of the die cuts
8. Use the iCraft® Deco Foil™ Foam Adhesive and cut out details to add to your project. Once cut out, apply iCraft® Deco Foil™ of your color choice and add to project.
