Hi Everyone! Shemaine here today sharing a couple of ideas for using the new iCraft Deco Foil™ sheets in black and iCraft Deco Foil™ Peelnstick Toner Sheet to create Halloween decor and a quick card.
This shelf is one of my favorite places to decorate in my house. The new black Decofoil was easy to use to create a few additions to my decor.
First for the card, I chose a card cut file from the Cricut library to create. I cut the design at 5.5 x 5.5 on orange glitter paper and foiled a toner sheet cut at 5.5 x 3 to go behind the Happy Halloween sentiment so the sentiment would not be lost in the polka dot cardstock.
Next to make the layered bats, I adhered a toner sheet to my Cricut cutting mat and chose a bat design from the image library to cut. For the layered look, I cut 4 bats to layer. The toner sheet cut really nicely on the regular cardstock setting.
Now the bats are ready to be foiled. Cut squares to fit the die cuts to conserve the foil and run them thru the laminator to set the foil.
Next use the Therm-O-Web 3D foam squares to layer and pop them on the card base. The adhesive on the foam squares is great for glitter papers because it holds well.
Next create some fun mummys with recycled jars, gauze and Toner sheet Deco Foil™ circles.
Wrap your jars with gauze, starting at the bottom and working your way to the top. Use hot glue to secure. Use black DecoFoil™ to foil die cut circles from toner paper. These circles are punched with a 1″ circle punch and then hole punched on the inside. Adhere them to the gauze with 3D foam squares and just add a flickering flame less candle for night time fun.
Finish off the decorating with a few larger sized bats (5.5 x 3) die cut from toner sheets and foiled for a complete look.
