The Deco Foil™ Adhesive Pen is one of my favorite ways to customize my projects. Continuing with our Art Impressions team-up this week, I created a doodled grid (which kind of looks like chicken wire, I think) to go with my Chicken card using the Art Impressions Dairy Christmas stamp set.

This card was super simple to create. Here is a list of products that I used:

Therm O Web Supplies

Other Supplies

  • Alcohol Markers (or anything you like to color with)
  • 2 1/2″ Circle Die or punch
  • Art Impressions Dairy Christmas Stamp Set
  • White cardstock
  • Manual Die-cutting Machine

You can watch how simply the card came together in the process video below.

Here are a few more photos of the finished card. You can see that I simply doodled some lines on the background of the card and I think they kind of give the impression of chicken wire, which I love. 🙂

You can see that I also added a strip of foil to the right edge of the card. The card front is cut a little bit shorter which allows that gold to peek through.

I hope you’ll give these techniques a try on your next holiday card!

Wow, I managed to do all 25 entries. Wow! That was amazing. I really like your chicken wire look. It is a cute card you made. You gave me an idea to use my 2 1/2 inch circle punch!! I have that. And great to get ideas to use what I have.

I’ve seen the Thermo Web product at the craft stores. I’ve looked at it and thought this looks hard but after watching a video on it I think I could do this. I love the chicken idea and love the Santa with the blue stripes behind him. I like bright colors and this is so “fun” looking. Thanks for the chance to win this fabulous products.

So cute! I was hesitant to use the foil (seemed to complicated) but looks pretty straight forward. Will definitely give it a try.
