Project Instructions:

First up, layout the mason jar stamp and inside images and stamp them onto a piece of white cardstock.  Add clear embossing powder and use the heat gun to activate.

1

Then, grab your DecoFoil Adhesive pen and gently add adhesive to the paintbrush tips.

2

We need to allow the adhesive to dry, so while it is drying, color in the brushes and jar! My marker of choice is Spectrum Noir, but you can use any medium you choose (Copics, pencils, pens, other markers, paint, etc.).

3

Gently test the adhesive by touching it to make sure it is dry (but it will be sticky) and then press some Rainbow DecoFoil into the sticky areas.  I cut off a few small pieces, just so I was able to get into the tighter areas.  This is a great way to foil those teeny spots; just cut a few pieces of foil!

After all of the paint tips are covered, add adhesive to the brushes where the metal areas would be.  Let it dry and then add the Pewter DecoFoil to it.

7

Add some color with Distress Ink and a blender.  This adds interest and softens up the harshness of the plain white card panel.

Now it’s time to add more foil! Yay! Die cut a sentiment out of DecoFoil Foam adheisve two times.  Adhere them together and place onto the card.

8

Peel off the release tape on the top layer.  Press the DecoFoil onto the foam adhesive.  You can use a bone folder to really burnish the foil into the adhesive.

9

Pull off the foil and voila! You have a foiled 3D die cut.

I hope you will give this a try.  How much fun are foiled die cuts?! It is also so easy to foil small areas by just trimming off small pieces of foil!
