Create a Stunning Card with Deco Foil Transfer Gel
Hello there. Shemaine here today sharing a fun way to make your own backgrounds on cards using our new Deco Foil Transfer gel along with our Deco Foil Transfer sheets.
Here are the supplies you’ll need for today’s card as seen in the Fall 2017 Issue of CardMaker Magazine.
Therm-O-Web Supplies:
Deco Foil Transfer Gel
DECO FOIL™ TRANSFER SHEETS • EMERALD WATERCOLOR
SUPERTAPE™ ROLL • 1/4 IN
Other Supplies:
Cold press water color paper
Painters tape
Your choice of Sentiment die (I used one from My Favorite Things)
Recollections gold glitter paper

Create a Stunning Card with Deco Foil Transfer Gel Instructions:
Use painter’s tape to tape your stencil onto the watercolor paper. Spread the gel with a craft spatula to control the amount of thickness of your project.
Cover the entire area you want to foil. Scrape away the excess gel.
Once you have the are covered well, peel back the stencil to reveal your design. Set aside to dry approx 30-45 mins.
Once the gel has completely dried, cut a piece of the DECO FOIL™ TRANSFER SHEETS • EMERALD WATERCOLOR and place over the stenciled area. Run through the laminator to set.
Cut away the edges of the watercolor paper on the left side and adhere to the card base. Finish the card by adhering the sentiment die cut.
The finished design is stunning foiled. With so many choices of stencils out there, your possibilities are endless for using our new Deco Foil Transfer Gel.
