I am so excited that we are finally in the month of October and Halloween is right around the corner. I love creating little treats to give away to my kids and their best friends. I used Doodlebug Design’s Ghouls and Goodies collection and several Therm O Web adhesives to make these pillow boxes.
First, cut the pillow box. You can use a template or a die or a Silhouette Cameo. Use Therm O Web Sticky Dot Mini Runner to add coordinating patterned paper to the die Jack O Lantern face and to close up the side of the pillow box.
Then use Sticky Lines to adhere trim around one of the pillow boxes.
Use a Large Therm O Web Zots™ to attach the bow on top of the trim.
And finally, fill with treats!
You can make them all the same or change up the pattern and trim.
I used the same collection and adhesives to make a quick Halloween card too! Use Therm O Web 3D Zots™ to pop up everything off of the card base.
I use 3D Zots™ALL THE TIME. Can you spot them on this layout?
No? Well, the reason you don’t see them is that they are clear, which makes hiding behind die cuts or other embellishments much easier!
Even though they are hidden they add the perfect amount of dimension!
What is your favorite Halloween craft? Treat boxes, cards, layouts? Other ideas? Whatever your favorite paper crafting method, I know Therm O Web will help you get the job done!
