Happy Tuesday!
After a long weekend, I spent a lot of time thinking about the fall and how excited I am for pumpkins, leaves, and scarves!
One of my favorite trends this year is the statement t’s and I knew that I wanted to create my own with iCraft® Deco Foil™. It’s such an easy product to work with and being able to customize my shirt was so appealing. After making this shirt I’m pretty sure I will be making a 100 more….
Supplies:
-short sleeve/long sleeve solid black t-shirt
-2 sheets of deco foil™ hot melt adhesive
-2 sheets of deco foil™ transfer sheets pumpkin
Instructions:
-First design your hello fall on a cutting machine or on word. You can either have your machine cut the heat transfer material for you or you can print and trace your design onto the material. I always lay my transfer material straight onto my cutting mat without anything beneath it. It seems to come out with the cleanest cut that way. Here are the two fonts I used hello: skinny jeans solid, fall: wild west wind.
-Lay out your shirt on a ironing board and set your letters centered about four to five inches from the top of your shirt. Place your parchment paper over your letters and iron for 30 seconds on medium. Let cool and then peel off your letter.
-Once the letters have been peeled off, cut a piece of your pumpkin foil a little larger than each row and place it on top of your letter. Iron for 30-40 seconds. Let completely cool. WALK AWAY!!!! I usually give it 20 minutes.
-Pull off your deco foil™ and enjoy your new shirt. Make a gazillion more!
Enjoy making your shirt! Don’t forget to tag #thermoweb #decofoil in your social media with your finished product!
