I tend to go a little overboard when it comes to sending out our Christmas cards.  One year I made cute cards that actually turned into signs that you could hang on a door knob or on a rack and this year is no exception.
I saw on Pinterest a cute little mini album that a straw was used as a spine and just went with that idea.
Lawn Fawn just has the cutest paper stacks and accessories and makes everything so easy to put together.
Using small glassine bags poke a hole in the bottom, and run baker twine through the bag and up through the straw.  Repeat as necessary.

This is a picture of the “card” open to reveal 2 other bags.  Use tags covered in patterned paper that slide into the bag, giving you a nice base for your card, I love using Superstick glue sticks, the glue holds everything nicely in place.  Decorate the bags as desired using foam squares to give dimension and Zots™ for everything else.

I plan on sliding the kids school pictures in to the bag with a little note from each of the kids for the Grandparents.
Thank you so much for looking a my project today I hope you enjoy it and come back for more inspiration.
